My name is Amy. I'm the 31 year old mama to Evan, who has too quickly become a big boy and is almost 11 months old. He is the cutest, smartest, funniest, wittiest, most lovable baby in the world. (of course!)I have been breastfeeding him since he was about 30 minutes old. It's been one of, if not the, most important decision in my life. I love every minute of it.
I work full-time outside the home doing home-based Family Preservation work with families involved in the justice system. My wonderful husband, Jason, stays home during the week to watch Evan and works on the weekends. We find many aspects of Attachment Parenting to be our style - we co-sleep and refuse to let our baby cry it out. I'm very set on following our instincts rather than doing "what everyone else does" or what is deemed "the right way".
Outside of being a mom, wife, and employee - I enjoy sleeping any extra chance I can get, reading, reality tv, crafts & home improvement projects, hiking, camping, music, & gardening and posting on Gotbreastmilk message boards!

Hi, I'm Rachael. I am a SAHM of Fiona, born February 2, 2002 and pregnant with baby #2, EDD of October 25, 2004. I'm currently nursing Fiona and of course plan to breastfeed the next one! We are attachment parents meaning that we co-sleep, carry, breastfeed, and practice gentle discipline. I also love to cook (hence the username) and bake and read. We also love cloth diapers and look forward to adding to our collection.
